Webinars are a great opportunity to learn from experts in the field on relevant topics. You can also earn CE credit by viewing the presentation and passing the quiz with a minimum score of 80%.

Webinar series

Each series consists of a group of webinars related to the same topic. Webinars within a series are purchased and completed individually, and vary in price, length, and amount of CE credit earned.

Vaccination Series. This group of webinars consists of four topics: Measles, HPV, flu and vaccination conversations.
  • Measles Disease and Vaccination: This two-part webinar provides a general description of measles, recent epidemiology in the U.S. and facts about the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, including recommended use, effectiveness, administration, storage, handling and adverse events. Moderated by Dr. Raymond A. Strikas, MD, MPH, FACP, FIDSA, a medical officer in the Communication and Education Branch, Immunization Services Division, NCIRD, CDC, HHS in Atlanta, Georgia. He is the Education Team Leader in the Branch.
  • Preventing HPV Cancer: This webinar describes HPV cancers, the importance of vaccination, patient and parent communication strategies, vaccine safety and efficacy, and roles and resources regarding when and how to recommend the HPV vaccine. Presented by experts Lois Ramondetta, MD and Keisha Providence, RMA, RPT from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
  • What's New with Flu in 2019-2020: This webinar discusses recommendations for the 2019-2020 influenza season along with best strategies for patient communication. Learn from a leading influenza expert, Dr. L.J. Tan, Chief Strategy Officer at the Immunization Action Coalition.
  • Vaccination Conversations: Learn techniques to talk to your patients with Dr. L.J. Tan, chief strategy officer at the Immunization Action Coalition. This webinar details the current atmosphere of vaccine confidence, what led to it, and how we can engage and educate patients to improve acceptance of vaccines.
Individual webinars
  • Anemia: Signs of the Various Kinds: Define and discuss the clinical signs and symptoms of anemia, classify anemia based on morphology and pathophysiology and present case studies to correlate clinical conditions with red cell morphology.
  • Phlebotomy Follies: A light-hearted look at pre-analytical error through humorous memes, photos and illustrations.
  • Workplace Listening Skills: Look at the importance of listening skills when communicating in the workplace and examine the process of listening as a skill that allows one to make sense of and understand what another person is saying.
CE credit is earned when you pass the quiz with a minimum score of 80%. Your CE credit will be applied to your certification CCP requirement. Please note that you can only claim CE credit one time for each webinar.
