Welcome to the Georgia State Society Website!

Stone Mountain Park is Georgia’s most popular attraction and features a wide variety of family activities. Located on 3,200 acres of natural beauty, adventure awaits as you discover interactive family friendly attractions and many natural and historical sights. Stone Mountain is open year-round.

The National Infantry Museum emphasizes the values that define the Infantryman, as well as the nation he protects: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. It preserves and displays one of the greatest collections of military artifacts in the world, but it is a museum of people, not things. As a visitor, you will meet the Infantryman face to face and join him on his journey. The 190,000-square-foot museum opened in June 2009 on a 200-acre tract of hardwoods and pines just outside the gates of the Fort Benning Maneuver Center of Excellence

President's Message

As we prepare to attend the Magnolia Educational Treasures program in Gulfport, MS., I want to take time out to recognize our Registered Medical Assistants (RMAs).  Medical Assistants are multi-faceted professionals.  Their skills include both clinical and administrative tasks. They can be found in many medical organizations including hospitals, physician’s offices, clinics and many other medical organizations.  They pride excellent services for their patients and for and the industry as a whole.  The third week of October has been set aside to honor these valued professionals. This year observances is October 17-21.  On behalf of the Georgia State Society of American Medical Technologists.  We celebrate your commitment to the industry. I would like to thank each of you for what you do and the love and care in which you do it. Your commitment to the profession and to the industry.
