Become an Author of an Article for the AMT Pulse

Make an impact on your profession by writing an article for AMT’s Pulse!

AMT is looking for individuals to write articles on topics relevant to our certificants. If your article is accepted for publication you can get 10 certification continuation program (CCP) points.

Article Guidelines:

  • Must be original authorship and never published previously
  • Manuscript word count no more than 2000 words
  • Must have all quotes, facts, figures, graphs or material from another source, must be properly and completely referenced. References must be in numerical order as they appear in the manuscript. (Referencing should follow APA citation format, or follow the Manual of Style of the American Medical Association)
  • All pictures used must be copyright free
  • Must include 10 quiz questions

  • Multiple choice, true/false or combination of both (multiple choice or combination preferred)
  • For multiple choice, the number of answer choices must be four -- no more, no less
  • Answers to the questions must be found in the article
  • The answer key must be included with submissions of article and questions/answers

All manuscripts are to be submitted as a Word document and emailed to the Editor (AMTLearning@americanmedtech.org). Submitted articles will be reviewed by AMT Publication Review Advisory Committee. Authors of accepted manuscripts will be notified.
