American Kidney Fund Partnership

The American Kidney Fund (AKF) and AMT continue to work together to create a dynamic partnership to increase awareness of chronic kidney disease, a common and often preventable condition affecting 30 million Americans.

Over the past three years, AKF and AMT have fostered and promoted collaborative work focusing on the role of allied health professionals in the prevention and treatment of chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal disease. Throughout the partnership, AMT members continue to raise awareness of kidney disease through professional and public education and communications. AMT members have also raised funds to support the American Kidney Fund’s programs and services.

This year, their efforts will culminate at the AMT National Meeting on July 3rd in Washington, D.C. at the 4th Annual AMT KIDNEYNATION Walk where AMT members will walk and celebrate the funds raised and lives changed! (
