Individuals certified prior to January 1, 2006 (excluding individuals listed above) are NOT required to participate; however, AMT strongly encourages all members to keep abreast in their field through continuing education and other professional activities
Note: Individuals originally certified prior to Jan 1, 2006, who have let their active membership lapse longer than three years, will have to recertify and will then be subject to the three year CCP cycle.

Individuals must demonstrate EITHER compliance with CCP OR retake/pass the AMT exam in order to be recertified. Complete and submit the appropriate forms and applicable fee:

To recertify you must meet current eligibility requirements.
If your certification has lapsed longer than 10 years, you may ONLY recertify via examination.
If your certification has lapsed longer than 5 years, but less than 10, you will follow the same requirements listed above AND will ensure that your documented CE activities INCLUDE at least one of the following:
