School Recognition Program

The School Recognition Program (SRP) showcases the partnership between your school and AMT. Benefits of this program include:
  • A display certificate and a full SRP package to assist with promoting the partnership to others.
  • Online access to outcomes reports which compare aggregate examinee performance for school graduates against a national benchmark. Detailed and summary statistics are available for both total score and content sub-areas of the examination.

To sign up, simply open and complete the appropriate SRP forms, save the form adding the name of your organization and submit it via email to srp@americanmedtech.org

Application Process

AMT has an Online Application for its certification programs. It is easy to apply!

    A confirmation is sent immediately to the email submitted on the application. Please encourage your students to track their status online using the login information provided in the email.  Allow 1 - 2 weeks for initial processing.

    Bulk Purchases

    In order for us to continue to provide the type and level of service you’ve come to expect from a quality certification agency, we now allow Bulk Purchases in several ways – if your school pays for exams or any of the review materials, such as Practice Exams, consider purchasing in bulk.

    Note – applications are valid for one year.

    Bulk payment by credit card
    To purchase applications or practice exams in bulk by credit card, choose the option from your member’s homepage and follow the instructions. Once the purchase has been completed, your school will receive a confirmation with the Invoice/Code that can be used by your students to apply online, or the practice exam registration code. (Bulk purchase requires login) SRP Portal.

    Bulk payment by Purchase Order

    To purchase applications in bulk by Purchase Order, choose the Bulk Payment option your member’s homepage and follow the instructions. On the payment page, click the PO radial button, and add your purchase order number.  Once the purchase has been completed, your school will receive a confirmation with the Invoice/Code that can be used by your students to apply online.  Your school will be sent an invoice to pay. (Bulk purchase requires login) SRP Portal. Practice exams cannot be purchased by Purchase Order.

    Bulk payment by check
    To purchase applications or practice exams in bulk by check, send the following information to American Medical Technologists, 10700 W. Higgins Rd, Suite 150, Rosemont, IL 60018. Attn: SRP Dept.

    • Name of your school
    • Contact information (name, phone number and email)
    • The number of applications and/or practice exams you wish to purchase
    • Check or money order for the correct amount

    Once we have processed your order, we will send you a code that can by used by your students to apply and/or purchase the practice exam online.

    Your School in Lights

    Who doesn’t like a few moments of fame?? AMT can make that happen for your school and students. Simply submit interesting tidbits of information to us and we’ll promote it on our website and Facebook page. Be creative!

    Please submit the following information:

    • Name of your school/campus
    • Name of program director
    • List of allied health certification programs you offer
    • Pictures or stories about how you celebrated an allied health week, a special accomplishment of a student or group of students, or any other human interest stories that pertain to a profession

    Medical Assistant Student Challenge Bowl

    The AMT has a wonderful opportunity for medical assistant students to demonstrate their knowledge and show their school pride! The Medical Assistant Student Challenge Bowl is a one-day educational competition which is open to all Medical Assistant students who will be enrolled in institutions offering a Medical Assistant program at the time of the competition.

    The 2016 Bowl will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., during the AMT Education Program and National Meeting  in Memphis, Tennessee.

    The purpose of this academic tournament is to provide opportunities for professional camaraderie, sportsmanship, and networking with their peers from various states. The Medical Assisting students will compete in answering questions in Administrative, Clinical and General categories of Medical Assisting.
