Welcome to Kentucky!
The Kentucky State Society would like to thank everyone who has participated in KY AMT events this year. We work throughout the year to bring our members C.E.U’s as well as awareness to what AMT has to offer to their members. Kentucky has well over 1700 members and we want to reach out to each of you. If you do not receive our bi-annual newsletter please don’t hesitate to contact us, our information is located under the Leadership tab. Take the time to send us your updated email address, home address along with a phone number. Kentucky is always looking for speakers for educational events, as well as a great location for these events. We would like to come to your area.
Jan/Feb 2017 -the KY Board of Directors will meet to plan 2017 events and schedule. We are thinking our next educational meeting will be in Western KY. The board will discuss at our meeting. Newsletter articles will be due, so share your thoughts and suggestions by emailing to one of the board members. We are always looking for student articles, management articles and scientific articles for the newsletter.
March 2017- The KY Bluegrass Tech newsletter will be due to state office. If you have something to share, please send email Christina Huff (huffc@ggclinic) with your ideas and suggestions before March.
July 2017- We will gear up for the 79th National Convention in Kansas City Missouri. If you’ve never been to an AMT convention this one would be great. It’s close and room rates are pretty reasonable.
Have you ever thought about getting involved with the local AMT board? It’s fun and easy! Each year you pay your dues, now put them to good use and help make a difference in your organization. You would be surprised at what all AMT stands for and how hard they work for their members. If you’re the least bit curious come to a meeting and see for yourself. Link to 2017 Annual Meeting flyer
We hope to see you soon!
