Join KIDNEYNATION and Fund the Fight Against Kidney Disease

During the spring of 2016, this campaign provides a team-building opportunity for AMT State Societies, members, friends and colleagues to come together and fundraise to help others. 2016 AKF Kidney Action Days and Screening Events

Volunteer at American Kidney Fund (AKF) Kidney Action Days and other screening events!  AMT members can have an impact in the fight against kidney disease. AMT and AKF are working together to increase awareness of this disease through education and screenings, and to raise the profile of AMT and its members. Volunteers are needed for a variety of jobs, including: setup, greeting / information, registering screening participants, taking blood pressure, finger stick glucose testing, distributing refreshments, counseling attendees on their test results or engaging with children through fun activities. (Calendar of Events)

To volunteer for any other screening event, please contact AKF Director of Health Initiatives Nanyamka Hales at nhales@kidneyfund.org
